A Big Thank You From: Operation Winter Survival

Thanks to everyone who returned a bag full of clothes for  the World Jewish Relief winter survival appeal. Shenley members really went to town clearing out their cupboards. 

They delivered more than thirty bulging bags - a tremendous response. There were coats, fleeces, and anoraks as well as scarves, jumpers, trousers and other items of warm clothing. The Appeal organisers were thrilled - and the donations will hopefully achieve the aim of saving lives this winter.

Also, thank you to Ruth Sigler and the Chesed group for organising the collection.
