Mazaltov to Brenda and Eric Brett on their double celebration with the birth of  twin Grandchildren. The boy and the girl were born in Israel 3 weeks ago. Both babies and Mum are doing well.

 A very big thank you to Prof. Dr Laurie Zolath Dorfman - Director of the Bio Ethics Centre Northwestern University (and Rabbi Levi's mum) gave a very interesting speech on "Judaism and Ethics in Medicine" following the Shabbat Morning Service last weekend. She discussed the up and coming decisions which need to be made as to how and if stem cell research progresses.

Those who attended will agree it was thought provoking and really worthwhile. If you missed it, don't worry other guest speakers will be coming to Shenley on Shabbat's in the near future.
